Ekhi Arzac is a PhD candidate at TU Delft working on trustworthy embedded sensing systems. As part of the ANT project, his research investigates the integration of machine learning and explainable AI into radar-based sensing systems. His work focuses on improving the interpretability and robustness of machine learning models used in signal-based perception, such as bistatic radar, with the goal of enabling reliable AI-driven sensing in complex real-world environments.

Ekhi holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from INP-ENSEEIHT in Toulouse and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from TU Eindhoven. His academic background focuses on wireless systems, signal processing, and RF engineering, with a particular interest in radar sensing and machine learning applications for signal interpretation.

He is particularly interested in the development of trustworthy sensing technologies that combine physical signal understanding with transparent machine learning methods. His research aims to help ensure that future sensing systems are both technically reliable and understandable to engineers and end users, supporting the broader adoption of intelligent sensing technologies in practical applications.
