Gaoxuan Li
Gaoxuan Li is a PhD candidate at the University of Reading, supervised by Associate Professor Xiaomin Chen. His research focuses on the security and privacy of Embedded AI systems, particularly investigating privacy attacks on compressed neural networks deployed on microcontroller units (MCUs).
He is a doctoral researcher in the European ANT Doctoral Network (Embedded AI Systems and Applications), where his work investigates privacy threats across the Embedded AI pipeline. His research aims to identify privacy vulnerabilities in embedded AI models and systems and develop lightweight privacy-preserving techniques suitable for resource-constrained embedded devices.
Prior to his PhD, he received his Master’s degree in Data Science from Monash University and his Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering from Hebei University of Science and Technology, China.
